Miami, FL, – Alno, a leading German kitchen and cabinet furniture manufacturer has secured a multi-million dollar contract to provide high-end kitchens and bath vanities for a new project in Sunny Isles, Florida.

The condominium project, 400 Sunny Isles, is owned by Key International Realty and 13th Floor Investments and will provide residents eco-friendly seaside living with oceanfront views and intracoastal access.

“With the capacity to provide cabinets at a high-volume, Alno is positioned to service new construction for multi-units in Miami,” said Lothar C. Birkenfeld, President and CEO of Alno USA Corporation. Alno has been represented in the US for nearly 40 years.

The 400 Sunny Isles project, designed by Architect Chad Oppenheim and Architect of Record, Kobi Karp consists of two 20-story glass towers, with a total of 230 units. The developers decided on Alno to offer their clients beautiful, uncompromising and European-made materials. “The decision process to use Alno was fairly easy; using the Alno product gives us peace of mind when it comes to quality,” said Rey Melendi, COO of 13th Floor Investments, a financial partner, and real estate managers.

Alno created real-life mock-up model displays in its 5,000 s.f. showroom in Miami to ensure the designs met the client’s standards. For the kitchen, the developers selected a very special ultra-white door front for the base cabinets, and an exotic engineered wood for the upper cabinets. State-of-the-art appliances are by Smeg and Liebherr. Cashmere oak, an engineered and extremely durable front was selected for the bathroom vanities.

Alno is a worldwide, award-winning cabinet brand established in Germany in 1927. With seven factories, the company has the ability to manufacture and deliver designs for Miami’s most exclusive multi-unit projects. The Alno AG Group has the capacity to produce 15,000 individual cabinets per day. Quality control and rigorous tests have been a priority since the company’s inception. Alno’s Project Department employs only experienced and factory-trained personnel who have previously worked in the commercial sector.

The two 400 Sunny Isles towers sit along 640 feet of waterfront, and all units have direct bay, ocean, and park views. “We are delighted to be a partner in this world-class project and already are in negotiations with the owners for a separate project in Brickell,” said Birkenfeld. Alno developed detailed drawings for ten varieties of kitchen floor plans.

German engineering and the finest craftsmanship are involved in manufacturing every Alno door front. Alno is the choice among developers because of the company’s experience and attention to detail from the moment communications with the architect, developer, owners representative or owner is involved.

Recent completed projects include the W Hotel in Atlanta, 93 Worth Street in Tribeca, NY, and Dubai’s Sky Tower.
