Teknika is also pleased that in addition to its modern European line of cabinetry, Alno, the showroom will offer start-to-finish design services from concept planning to manufacture and installation.
Owned and operated by Amy Meade, Teknika has opened at 225 Race St, Philadelphia, PA 19106 to service clients looking to renovate their home, with custom, high-end made-to-order cabinetry. Teknika Design Group is the only kitchen showroom in ‘Old City’ Philadelphia that is able to provide clients with options for modern, transitional or traditional design features in cabinetry, appliances, plumbing fixtures, countertops, hardware and has competitive pricing in comparison to its’ competitors. Meade and her Creative Director, Marcella Huss bring more than 80 years of combined experience to Philadelphia in kitchen design and budget planning, construction coordination, advanced 3D renderings, graphic design and client relations. Meade earned her stripes at Harvard Business School and then worked for Fortune 500 companies such as, Frito-Lay and Novartis and leaders in other industries such as Destination Maternity. After running extremely successful businesses with sales in the hundreds of millions, Meade was able to translate great practices from those businesses to the kitchen and bath showroom. When Meade decided to follow her dream of owning a creative, service oriented business and bought Teknika Design Group. 2008 her diverse background in sales, marketing, project management and finance allows for a holistic approach when working with clients on their kitchen and bath renovation projects. And now her design talents have the stamp of approval (accreditation) from NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association).
